Shipping Policy
We ship from our warehouse in Miami, Florida — every order, every time.
Processing time
Retail orders (raw beans, roasted beans, sample kits): we hand-pack within 1-3 business days of order, Monday through Friday. You'll get a tracking number by email the day we ship.
Wholesale orders (50 kg jute sacks, 200 kg+): we coordinate freight directly with you. Lead time is typically 7-14 business days from confirmed order, depending on volume, freight method, and destination. We'll send you a shipping confirmation with carrier, tracking, and ETA before pickup.
Domestic shipping (Continental US)
We ship retail orders via USPS Priority Mail or UPS Ground. Delivery is typically 3-7 business days after dispatch, depending on your zone.
Wholesale freight is quoted per order — LTL or full pallet, carrier selected based on your zip code, dock availability, and timeline preference.
Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on weight and destination. No hidden fees.
Alaska, Hawaii, US Territories
We ship — USPS Priority Mail only. Add 3-5 business days to standard delivery times. Wholesale freight to these regions is quoted separately.
International shipping
For orders outside the US (Canada, EU, UK, Mexico, and beyond): we quote freight on a case-by-case basis. Email with your order quantity, destination, and timeline, and we'll come back with options (FOB Miami, CIF to your port, or door-to-door). EXW / FOB / CIF Incoterms 2020 available for wholesale.
Order tracking
Every retail order gets a tracking number by email the moment we hand it to the carrier. Wholesale orders get a detailed tracking email — carrier name, BOL number, estimated transit days, and a direct line if anything goes sideways en route.
Damaged or lost packages
If your retail order arrives damaged or doesn't show up within 14 days of the tracking estimate, email within 14 days of the expected delivery date. Send a photo if it's damaged. We'll either reship at no charge or refund the order — your choice.
For wholesale freight damage, photograph any pallet/sack damage at the moment of receipt before signing the BOL, and email us within 48 hours. Freight claims have to be filed quickly to be honored.
Address changes & cancellations
If you need to change your shipping address or cancel an order, email us within 12 hours of placing the order. After that, we may have already packed and dispatched.
What we don't ship
- APO/FPO/DPO addresses (working on it)
- Weekend or US federal holiday dispatch — orders placed Friday after 2pm ET ship Monday
Storage tips
Cacao is shelf-stable. Keep beans in a cool, dry place (60-70°F), sealed, out of direct sunlight. Raw beans keep 12+ months; roasted beans are best within 6 months for peak flavor.
